The 2018 Carolina Saxophone Camp
will be held 24-29 June 2018
on the campus of Western Carolina University

Please join us on the beautiful campus of Western Carolina University June 24-29, 2018, for a week of music-making with renowned chamber ensemble the Assembly Quartet.

Open to all high school and undergraduate saxophonists, this thrilling week of saxophone and music-making is in its sixth year. The Assembly Quartet will serve as artist-faculty for the camp, and includes Dr. Adam Estes (The University of Mississippi), Dr. Jeff Heisler (Oakland University), Dr. Matt Younglove (Wayne State University), and Dr. Ian Jeffress of Western Carolina University.

Camp activities include performance in solo, chamber, and ensemble music settings, private lessons, study of jazz and contemporary techniques, and classes in improving musicianship and performance. Days will also include concerts by the Assembly Quartet, group activities (including a rafting trip through the beautiful Smoky Mountains!), and student performances. This is a wonderful opportunity for all student saxophonists to hone their craft in a week of intense music and fun times!

We hope you’ll join us in June for an exciting week of making music!
